💨 Abstract

A weather system moving across Florida could develop into a tropical depression as it heads towards the Gulf. If it strengthens into a named storm, it would be called Tropical Storm Dexter. The system is bringing heavy rain and flood risks to Florida through midweek. So far, the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season has seen three tropical storms. Meanwhile, Florida's attorney general is requiring airports to report any weather modification aircraft to combat false claims about cloud seeding and floods.
