Wisconsin Lt. Sara Rodriguez, a former nurse and politician, announced her candidacy for governor after incumbent Tony Evers decided not to seek re-election. Rodriguez, who has served in the state Assembly and as lieutenant governor, is set to challenge GOP policies and focus on healthcare, including protecting abortion rights, and economic rebuilding. Other Democrats considering the race include Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley and Attorney General Josh Kaul.
