💨 Abstract
A fast-growing brush fire, the Canyon Fire, forced over 2,700 people to evacuate north of Los Angeles by Thursday night. By 11 p.m., the fire had burned through 7.6 square miles and remained uncontained, spreading east. The fire is near Lake Piru and Lake Castaic, with over 14,000 additional residents under evacuation alerts.
