💨 Abstract
Newsmax will pay $67 million to settle a defamation lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems. The lawsuit stemmed from Newsmax airing false information about Dominion and its role in the 2020 U.S. presidential election. This settlement follows Newsmax's earlier $40 million payout to Smartmatic and Fox News's $787.5 million settlement for similar reasons.
