💨 Abstract
The U.S. government under President Trump has doubled the reward for the arrest of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro to $50 million, accusing him of narco-trafficking and ties to drug cartels. The indictment, issued in 2020, includes charges of narco-terrorism and conspiracy to import cocaine. Despite the reward and international condemnation of Maduro's reelection, he remains in power.
