Investigation starts into North Carolina plane crash that killed NASCAR driver Biffle and 6 others -
💨 Abstract
A business jet crashed in North Carolina, killing retired NASCAR driver Greg Biffle, his family, and three others. The Cessna C550, registered to Biffle's company, took off from Statesville Regional Airport and crashed minutes later while attempting to return. Investigators are determining the cause and who was piloting the plane. Biffle, known for his racing achievements and humanitarian efforts, was remembered by NASCAR and community members. The airport remains closed for the investigation.
