💨 Abstract
Residents near a breached levee in Tukwila, Washington, were ordered to evacuate due to a flash flood warning following heavy rains. This comes after an earlier evacuation alert was lifted for another levee breach in the same county. The floods have affected tens of thousands, with numerous rescues reported across western Washington. Earlier, the Desimone levee was reinforced with sandbags after a section failed, but no injuries were reported.
