Monica Richardson, senior vice president of USA Today, confirmed the departure but did not provide a reason. Bohan, known for her work in political journalism, praised the team's efforts despite industry challenges. Gannett, USA Today's parent company, has faced financial difficulties and announced $100 million in cuts earlier this year.
