Kansas basketball coach Bill Self was released from the hospital after a successful heart procedure where two stents were inserted to treat blocked arteries. The 62-year-old coach expressed gratitude to the medical team and excitement to resume preparing for the upcoming season. Self, a Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame member, led Kansas to national titles in 2008 and 2022 and has an impressive coaching record.
