💨 Abstract

The Servicio Meteorológico Nacional (SMN) reported that the probability of the first tropical cyclone forming in the Mexican Pacific this season has significantly increased to 90% within a week and 20% within 48 hours. The SMN is monitoring a low-pressure zone south of Chiapas, moving west-northwest at 16 km/h. The system could develop into a tropical cyclone by mid-next week south of Oaxaca and Guerrero, potentially becoming "Alyin."
