💨 Abstract
Guatemala and Colombia rejected detention requests for former members of the International Commission against Impunity in Guatemala (CICIG) and other ex-officials. Guatemala's Fiscalía Especial Contra la Impunidad (Feci) chief, Rafael Curruchiche, stated the orders lack legal basis. Both countries are in diplomatic contact to address the issue. The charges involve alleged crimes related to the Odebrecht corruption scandal.
