Tropical Storm Flossie, forming over the Pacific, is bringing heavy rain, wind, and waves to Mexican states Guerrero, Michoacán, and Colima. With sustained winds of 75 km/h and moving northeast, it is expected to strengthen into a Category 2 hurricane by July 2nd. Authorities have issued warnings and alerts from Michoacán to Jalisco, anticipating intense rainfall. President Claudia Sheinbaum urged the public to take precautions.
