đź’¨ Abstract
Owning stocks that pay dividends offers several benefits, including sharing in a company's earnings, defraying expenses, saving, or reinvesting for future gains. During inflation, dividends can hedge against falling purchasing power. Most dividend-paying stocks distribute quarterly, but some pay monthly, providing more frequent income, such as REITs, BDCs, and MLPs.
