💨 Abstract

In Chihuahua, Mexico, the State Human Rights Commission (CEDH) has launched eight investigations into possible negligence by authorities regarding 383 bodies found in a Ciudad Juárez crematorium. The probe focuses on whether the Health Commission (Coespris) or other entities failed to prevent the accumulation of bodies and the improper handling of cremains. The CEDH is also considering investigating the Juárez municipality.
