💨 Abstract
United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres met with the rival leaders of Cyprus, describing the talks as "constructive" but acknowledging limited progress. Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar expressed frustration over the lack of agreement on new border crossings, while both sides moved forward on other initiatives. The goal remains a reunified Cyprus, but differing views and historical grievances continue to pose challenges. Further meetings are planned.
