💨 Abstract
Nearly a third of American consumers use Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) for groceries, which can help manage cash flow but may also indicate financial issues. BNPL can offer short-term financing, often without interest or fees, but missed payments can result in high late fees and impact credit scores. Some users end up overspending or making impulse purchases.
