Church & Dwight Co. (CHD) reported a second-quarter profit of $191 million. Per-share earnings, adjusted for various costs, was 94 cents, exceeding analyst expectations of 85 cents. Revenue was $1.51 billion, also surpassing forecasts of $1.48 billion. The company expects 72 cents per-share earnings for the current quarter.
