💨 Abstract
Prince George’s County, Maryland, concluded a series of significant special elections on June 3, 2025. Over 62,000 mail-in ballots were cast, with light in-person turnout ahead of the election to select a new county executive and a District 5 council member. The elections followed a year of political shifts due to convictions and promotions, including the departure of former County Executive Angela Alsobrooks to the U.S. Senate.
