💨 Abstract

Prince William County supervisors narrowly renewed a contract allowing federal immigration officials to use their county's weapons training facility. The board voted 4-3, with Democrats Andrea Bailey and Republicans Tom Gordy, Bob Weir, and Yesli Vega voting in favor. The contract, opposed by several residents and advocacy groups, permits ICE and CBP agents to use the facility for training days, securing nearly $53,000 for the county.
