💨 Abstract
Dutch and German intelligence agencies report that Russia is regularly using banned chemical weapons, including chloropicrin and CS, against Ukrainian forces. These weapons force soldiers out of shelters to be attacked. Dutch officials call for more sanctions against Russia and continued support for Ukraine. Russia denies these claims, alleging that Ukraine has used chemical weapons. The OPCW is expected to discuss the conflict's chemical weapon use in an upcoming meeting.
