💨 Abstract
President Donald Trump has set a 50-day deadline for Russia to accept a peace deal in Ukraine, threatening severe sanctions otherwise. Russia, however, is using this time to intensify its summer offensive. Ukraine's resistance and strategic use of drones hinder Russia's rapid gains. Despite recent territorial advances, significant breakthroughs seem unlikely within the 50-day window. Russian forces are pushing toward key eastern strongholds, but Ukrainian defenses and the chronic shortage of manpower and ammunition slow Moscow's progress.
