The New York Mets won 2-1 against the Chicago White Sox in the ninth inning. Taylor doubled with Lindor drove him in with a fly. The Mets scored after bitting through the first six innings hitting Taylor’s 6th inning home run and Francisco Lindor’s 8th inning flyball. The Mets starter, Clay Holmes threw 102 pitches, giving up one run.
