The Chicago Cubs activated outfielder Ian Happ from the injured list on May 20, 2025. Happ, 30, had been sidelined since May 10 due to a left oblique strain and was batting .269 with three homers and 19 RBI in 39 games before his injury. He is set to play left field and bat leadoff against the Miami Marlins.
