Robbie Ray pitched six strong innings, improving to 7-0, as the San Francisco Giants defeated the Nationals 3-2. Ray allowed one run, struck out seven, and lowered his ERA to 2.56. Sam Huff's home run in the second inning put the Giants ahead. The Nationals scored a run in the third and another in the ninth, but closer Ryan Walker secured the save. Michael Soroka took the loss for Washington, allowing three runs in six innings.
