💨 Abstract
Max Scherzer, a three-time Cy Young Award winner, threw 40 pitches in live batting practice and may play in a minor league game this weekend. Scherzer, 40, has been dealing with injuries, including soreness in his right lat muscle and inflammation in his thumb. He signed a one-year deal with the Blue Jays in February.
