Canada's Jonathan David and Tajon Buchanan scored in the second half to secure a 2-0 win over El Salvador, advancing to the CONCACAF Gold Cup quarterfinals. David and Buchanan struck within 2 minutes and 35 seconds of each other. Canada topped Group B, while El Salvador finished last. Canada will face Guatemala in the quarterfinals, with the winner advancing to play the U.S. or Costa Rica.
