Drunken bettor from overseas sent death threats to Astros’ Lance McCullers Jr., Houston police say -

A man overseas made online death threats against Astros pitcher Lance McCullers Jr.'s family after a poor game. The threats, directed at McCullers' two young daughters, were made while the man was intoxicated and frustrated over losing a bet. Houston police identified the man, who apologized, but no charges have been filed. The McCullers family has been provided with 24-hour security.
