New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor, who broke his toe during a game, is recovering quickly and could return to the lineup as soon as this weekend. Manager Carlos Mendoza reported that Lindor did some running and drills, and might even play in the series against Colorado. Lindor, hitting .279 this season, was replaced by Ronny Mauricio on Friday.
