💨 Abstract
The Texas Rangers have placed first baseman Jake Burger on the 10-day injured list with a strained left oblique after he was injured on a swing in Friday's 6-2 win over the Pirates. Infielder Justin Foscue was recalled from Triple-A, and Ezequiel Duran will likely take over as the primary first baseman. Burger, who has a history of similar injuries, is optimistic about a quick recovery.
