The storms also impacted Minnesota and Wisconsin, with reported tornadoes, large hail, and powerful wind gusts, including a 106 mph gust in Bemidji. Meanwhile, nearly 59 million Americans faced extreme heat advisories, with temperatures 20 degrees above normal in parts.
