💨 Abstract
The Chicago White Sox have agreed to allow Justin Ishbia, brother of Phoenix Suns owner Mat Ishbia, to potentially buy a controlling interest in the team from 2029 to 2033. Currently, Ishbia is a limited partner and will provide capital to help pay down the team's debt and support operations. Current owner Jerry Reinsdorf, 89, will continue leading the team and retains the option to sell controlling interest within the specified period.
