Right-handed reliever Luke Weaver returned to the New York Yankees from the injured list after recovery from a strained left hamstring. Weaver, who joined closer duties earlier this month, missed just two weeks and returned faster than anticipated. The Yankees optioned Jayvien Sandridge to Triple-A to make room for Weaver.Veaver has 8 saves in 24 appearaneces, and his ERA is 1.05 this season.
