The US swimming team at the 2025 World Championships in Singapore faced a "acute gastroenteritis" outbreak, carried over from a training camp in Phuket, Thailand. Torri Huske, Luca Mijatovic, and Claire Weinstein were notably affected. Huske withdrew from the 100-meter butterfly heats, Mijatovic's 400 freestyle time was significantly slower, and Weinstein was pulled from the 400 freestyle.
