"Rhys Hoskins, a Milwaukee first baseman, left his team's game against the Miami Marlins mid-game due to discomfort in his left thumb. The injury occurred after Hoskins threw himself into a play, causing mild soreness in the thumb. He was substituted by Jake Bauers during the fifth inning. Hoskins, now in his second season with Brewers is batting .242 with 12 home runs and 42 RBIs this season.
