💨 Abstract
The Arizona Diamondbacks signed right-hander Jake Woodford to strengthen their injury-stricken bullpen. Woodford, 28, has five major-league seasons under his belt but struggled in 2024 with a high ERA. He has a 3-3 record with a 4.55 ERA in Triple-A this season. The move comes as the team faces several key injuries. Right-handers Justin Martinez and A.J. Puk are both out for the season.
