The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Boston Red Sox 5-2 on Friday night. Shohei Ohtani, who had homered in five consecutive games, didn't hit a home run but had a single and a walk. Teoscar Hernandez hit a two-run homer for the Dodgers. Emmet Sheehan pitched effectively for L.A., while Brayan Bello took the loss for Boston. Notably, Mookie Betts did not play for the Dodgers.
