💨 Abstract
In news from Barcelona, Spanish football club Espanyol is set to join an investment group led by English-based Velocity Sport Limited (VSL), which also includes Premier League club Burnley. An agreement between VSL and current Espanyol owners, Chinese group Rastar, aims to enhance Espanyol's economic and sporting structure. The deal, still pending formalization, will see both clubs remain independent but supported by the same financial group.
