💨 Abstract
Josh Jung led the Texas Rangers to a 7-2 victory over the Athletics with a homer and three runs scored. Cody Freeman and Michael Helman had their first big-league hits and RBIs on consecutive pitches in a four-run fifth inning. Freeman doubled and Helman hit a three-run homer. Jung, recalled from Triple-A, also contributed significantly. Jack Leiter struck out seven for the Rangers, while Oakland’s Nick Kurtz hit his 19th homer.
