💨 Abstract
The Texas Rangers acquired right-handed pitcher José Ruiz and cash from the Atlanta Braves, trading away Dane Dunning. The 30-year-old fished Philadelphia two months ago and has pitched in 18 combined games this year. The Rangers assigned him to their Triple-A affiliate, Round Rock. Ruiz has a 4.62 ERA in his nine-season MLB career.
