💨 Abstract
Rory McIlroy returned to Royal Portrush for the British Open, a course he hasn't played on since 2019. This time, he is more prepared to embrace the pressure and adulation from his home crowd. After winning the Masters earlier this year, completing his professional Grand Slam, McIlroy struggled with fatigue and finding new goals. However, his return to Portrush has recharged him.
