💨 Abstract
British aristocrats Constance Marten and her boyfriend Mark Gordon were convicted of gross negligence manslaughter for the death of their newborn daughter. The pair, who had been estranged the other four children who had been taken away by the courts, went on the run in 2023 after the baby's birth. They were found guilty of hiding the child's birth and cruelty. The infant's body was found decomposing in a shopping bag under rubbish in a garden shed.
