On July 30, 2025, the Chicago White Sox defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 9-3 in the rain-delayed final game of their series. Miguel Vargas and Edgar Quero each hit three-run homers in the seventh inning. The White Sox improved to 8-4 since the All-Star break, while Philadelphia's bullpen struggled despite acquiring a new reliever.
