💨 Abstract
Each summer, the "Crosstown Classic" pits Chicago's North and South Siders, fans of the Cubs and White Sox, against each other. The rivalry is marked by nostalgia, embodied by fans using Polaroid cameras to capture moments. Polaroids evoke memories with their familiar design and instantaneous, though slightly faded, photos. This mirrors baseball's traditions and the patience it requires. Despite the rivalry, fans enjoy each other's company, mingling and socializing.
