💨 Abstract
On July 11, 2025, White Sox first baseman Tim Elko exited the opener of a doubleheader against the Cleveland Guardians due to right knee soreness. He struck out in his only at-bat and has been struggling, batting .145 with 4 home runs and 8 RBIs in 20 games this season. Miguel Vargas shifted positions and Colson Montgomery came in to replace Elko.
