💨 Abstract
The New York Yankees bolstered their bullpen ahead of baseball’s trade deadline by acquiring All-Star closers David Bednar and Camilo Doval, along with reliever Jake Bird and utilityman José Caballero, sending minor league prospects and reserve infielder Oswald Peraza in return. They also optioned two right-handers to make room in the bullpen, improving their late-inning options to strengthen their playoff push in the AL East.
