💨 Abstract
In Gordon’s Bay, South Africa, a large, two-ton elephant seal was found wandering a suburban street on May 27, 2025. The young male seal surprised residents and hid for himself fast comebacks from local police and moving Patriot cars and crossing the streets. The animal welfare officials feared the animal was too far from the sea to find its way back to the ocean. The seal was sedated and taken in an animal transport container and brought to the beach safely.
