'In a tight game, the Golden State Valkyries edged out the Washington Mystics 68-67. Kate Martin led the Valkyries with 14 points, while Veronica Burton contributed 10 points, 10 assists, and seven rebounds. The Mystics' Sonia Citron scored 16 points. The Valkyries took an early lead but scored only 38 points in the remaining three quarters.
