đź’¨ Abstract
James Wood's two-run homer and Jake Irvin's strong pitching led the Washington Nationals to a 3-0 victory over the San Francisco Giants. Irvin pitched eight innings, allowing just three hits and striking out seven. Wood's homer, his 13th of the season, came in the first inning. The Giants, led by Kyle Harrison in his first start of the season, lost their third game in five.
