đź’¨ Abstract
After a record-breaking hot Tuesday, Wednesday will be another scorcher with temperatures nearing 100 degrees and heat indexes up to 108 in the D.C. area. A heat advisory is in effect, and scattered thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon, which hopefully will bring some relief. Temperatures will slightly decrease on Thursday, and Friday will see a brief break from the stifling heat and humidity with highs around 80 degrees.
