A heat wave is set to continue in the D.C. region from Sunday through Tuesday, with temperatures reaching the upper 80s to lower 90s and a heat index up to 110. A heat advisory is in effect from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, with D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser urging residents to stay hydrated and seek shade or air conditioning. Thunderstorms may bring severe weather and flooding risks.
